On May 20-21, 2006, in the Swedenborg Center, Dnepropetrovsk (which they refer to as the Center), a meeting took place between followers of the Writings of Emanuel Swedenborg and Goran Appelgren who is the pastor of the New Church in Sweden and European regional pastor.
For everyone interested in the works of Emanuel Swedenborg and the teachings contained in them, a very important and memorable event took place. On December 3-4, 2005, in Dnepropetrovsk, was the opening of the Swedenborg Center, the first in the CIS area.
